Amber here! I’m a Certified Pediatric Sleep Coach specializing in teaching little ones (newborn to 5 years old) how to confidently sleep independently. I am a graduate of Tuskegee University where I obtained my Masters in Public Health. I've been helping families get good sleep since 2019.


I’ve devoted my education and skills to changing the way parents view teaching their children how to sleep. I was born and raised in North Carolina, but now my husband, twin boys and I have made Huntsville, AL our home.

Sleep became my passion after we had our boys, we realized that babies just didn’t magically know how to go to sleep on their own, or at least ours didn’t. We really wanted the best for them. Now as toddlers those same skills taught to them as infants has stuck with them.


The joy of being able to put my children down for sleep independently and do chores or just enjoy time to ourselves is unmatched. That’s the joy I want to share with other parents because I remember the dark days of having no sleep and not remembering what a good night sleep felt like.


I believe it’s my mission to help parents achieve their sleep goals while maintaining a positive and healthy relationship with their children, and together we truly can.

Q. Is there a money back guarantee?

A. I create a custom plan for each child and the success is in the follow up and care provided. I stick with my clients until they are sleeping long stretches through the night. As long as you are transparent, engaging, with the check-in/follow up process you will see huge changes in your little one's sleep and reach your sleep goals!

Q. I don't live in Huntsville, can you still work with us?

A. YES! I totally embrace ZOOM, FaceTime ect for consultations.

Q. Can you come to my home?

A. If you would like extra support to implement your custom sleep plan I can offer in-home support at the beginning of bedtime routine, for three hours, giving you the support that you need.

This is a perfect add-on for any age group, but please note this is only available to clients in Huntsville, AL and some surrounding areas.

Q. What if I can't afford it, is there a way to help?

A. I understand that there is a lot to pay for as a parent and with the cost of living constantly increasing it's rough! So if finances are an issue for you, please still book a call with me. We offer discounts for military and payment plan option through Afterpay.

Q. Is my baby too young?

A. We learn habits and how things go right from birth... fun fact! Your baby has taken to your circadian rhythm (body clock) from when he/she was inside your tummy. I truly enjoy working with prenatal clients because I get to gently introduce habits which will get them off to the right start naturally, set up expectations so that parents know the "why" behind newborn sleep, and you still get to enjoy all the cuddles that come with having a new bundle of joy.

Q. What if my baby is different than all the other babies?

A.Your baby IS different and each family is unique. This is why reading all the blogs and books out there gets so confusing! However you don't have to worry about that, I've read the blogs, book, and because of that I'm able to filter through the "noise" and address the core issues for your baby. I know you want whats best for you baby and that is why you fill out a detailed questionnaire about your child and from that information a customized plan is created. As your baby goes through the process of learning to sleep, we will be able to make adjustments that support their sleep needs and abilities.

Q. Can I go away with my baby while we are working together?

A. Sleeping independently is a skill and like any skill that we want to be good at we need to practice to get better. When we travel, we are introducing a new sleep space and this can be hard when baby is still learning the new skill of sleep. I ask my families to be home for the first two weeks of our time together. You are still able to do outings during the day when baby is supposed to be awake, but it's best to save overnights/vacations until sleep skills have become solid.

Q. Do you believe in CIO?

A. As a certified pediatric sleep coach I am educated in the many ways to teach a child to sleep. CIO (Cry It Out) is a method that I choose not to use due to having other methods that are more gradual and easier emotionally for everyone involved. Using a parent present approach allows for your little one to learn sleep skill, but also feel supported and confident while doing so.

Q. Will my baby lose their connection with us if we teach him/her to sleep?

A. The short answer is NO! Let me tell you why. If your baby cries for you when something is wrong, then you know your baby has healthy attachment to you. Your baby knows who their safe person and space is. Attachment is what baby feels towards mom, dad, and people who are regulars in their lives. Bonding is what mom and dad (ect) feel towards the baby. With time and development attachment changes for baby. The special way that they show attachment will look different at different stages of their lives. So you want to teach independently sleep, and once you do you will be able to discover new attachments and interest that create even stronger bond!

Q. Will giving my baby a pacifier fix sleep issues?

A. A pacifier is great for calming babies when out in public or on a car ride. Some babies can take or leave a pacifier with no issue at all however, more often than not the pacifier stops working at some point and because baby really doesn't control the paci, that one sure fire way to get baby to sleep, becomes the problem. Once it's dropped or spit out, because we can't suck in deep sleep, they fully wake up looking for it/needing it to be replaced...OFTEN. When it is replaced by themselves or someone else they are able to start the sleep process over. Since babies can't control the paci it is an external prop which will be an issue every time they transition to the next sleep cycle. Our goal is to equipt your baby with internal skills so that they can be in control of their own sleep and not need help from you. When they are in control their sleep, everyone can have full rejuvenating night sleep.

Q. Do you work with multiples/siblings?

A. Yes! We also offer discounts for parents/caretakers looking to get sleep support for more than one child.
